About Me

CastriconeFamily
Hi! I’m Mrs. Castricone

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to support your child in their educational journey! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning and new adventures. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know each of my unique students and helping them grow individually. I thought you might like to know a little about me.

I have been married for 17 years to my wonderful husband, Anthony. We have four children (all boys) ranging from 8 years old to 16 years old. When we’re not camping or going on road trips together I enjoy crafting and putting sparkles on everything.

I taught 4th grade for 7 years at Sherman Elementary I am extremely excited to teach 2nd grade this year. I fell in love with 2nd grade during my student teaching year where I truly learned to support students in learning through STEM and exploration. I’ve had the great privilege of experiencing the tremendous growth as Sherman Elementary has developed into a STEM focused school. Besides having a passion for teaching, I have a love for learning. I currently have my BA degree in Elementary Education from BSU, an endorsement in Literacy and English as a Second Language, a minor in American Sign Language and am finishing up my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from NNU.

In the classroom I am committed to helping each child reach their highest potential and make life long memories along the way.
