All About Mrs. Parra

Hello, my name is Mrs. Parra. I have been teaching for twelve years

but have been blessed to be a Sherman Gator the last four years.

I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten! I love being able to give my

students an understanding of what school is all about and see how their eyes light up when they learn something new.

I believe teaching to the whole child is the best. This ensures my students are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged emotionally and academically.

When I am not teaching my students, I love spending time reading.

One of my favorite books to read is, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.

I also love yoga, exploring outside, and hanging out with my family.

My family and I love taking our dogs Yndia and Rico to the park and on walks.

I am Excited to meet you, and I look forward learning and exploring together.
