About Me

Mrs. Fisher

 Mrs. Fisher 2018

This will be my 6th year teaching at Sherman Elementary School in Nampa, ID. As a Nampa School District alumnus, I am proud to carry on the legacy of educational importance in our community. Growing up, my family had a passion for Early Education, and they currently own and operate a child development center in downtown Nampa. After experiencing working with children, I knew that I wanted a career that improved the lives of youth in the Treasure Valley.

My husband and I have two daughters, our oldest will be going into 2nd grade this year. When I am not at work I like to make tumblers, craft, waterski and spend time with family and friends. I have found that my life experience, knowledge of the community and familiarity being a mother helps me to develop students not only academically but emotionally as well.

In the classroom, my relationship with the students is a key element and one I strive to enhance daily. Providing students with a secure and welcoming educational environment helps to meet their needs and push students to excel in all areas. My desire to show students how education can help them be successful in all parts of their lives is what drives me daily.
