Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!! I am excited for this school year and the opportunity to teach your child!
I began my teaching career with the Nampa School District in 2004 as a teacher at the Nampa Early Childhood Learning Center. After 10 years in that position, I moved to Sherman Elementary Where I taught 2 years of kindergarten, 6 years of 2nd grade. This will be my 2nd year of teaching 1st grade.
I was born and grew up in Twin Falls, ID. Where I was taught by my grandparents to fish and enjoy the outdoors.
I attended Idaho State University where I received my BA in Elementary Education.
In 2000, I received my MA in Early Childhood Education from Boise State University.
My favorite subject is reading/literature. I enjoy sharing my favorite books with my students as well as helping them become better readers.
